Dr. Piman Limpaphayom joins PSU from Bangkok, Thailand where he taught at Sasin Graduate Institute of Business Administration of Chulalongkorn University. He is a CFA Charterholder and serves on the Board of Directors of the CFA Society of Portland (CFASP). He was also the Advocacy Chair of the CFA Society of Thailand and a member of a textbook review team for the CFA Institute.
He has extensive experience on corporate governance in Asia-Pacific as a consultant for the World Bank, the Asian Development Bank, the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), the Court of Justice of Thailand and the Stock Exchange of Thailand. He has worked closely with Asian regulators and practitioners on various corporate governance projects in China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam. He served as an advisor to the Securities Investors Association of Singapore (SIAS), the Philippines Institute of Corporate Directors, and the Thai Institute of Director Association.
His research papers have been published in various academic journals, such as Journal of Accounting and Economics, Journal of Financial Markets, Journal of Banking and Finance, Journal of Risk and Insurance, and Journal of Corporate Citizenship. He currently serves on the editorial board of the Asia-Pacific Journal of Risk and Insurance and Sasin Journal of Management.
